Terms of service

effective October 23, 2026

These terms govern your use of TallyOps, a time, effort and profitability tracker for agencies operated by WeekendDevs (“we”, “us”). By signing in or using TallyOps, you agree to them. If you use TallyOps for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you have the authority to do so. If your organization has a separate signed agreement with us, that agreement wins where the two differ.

Accounts

An organization’s admins decide who can sign in by adding their email addresses, and they choose each person’s role. Keep your sign-in secure, and tell us or your admin straight away if you think someone else has used your account. Your organization is responsible for what happens under its accounts.

Your organization’s data

Your organization owns the data it puts into TallyOps. It gives us permission to store, process and display that data only as needed to run TallyOps for it, as described in our privacy policy. Your organization is responsible for having the right to use that data, including information about its clients and contractors, and for the accuracy of the rates, budgets and other figures it enters.

Your organization can export its reports while it uses TallyOps, and can ask us for a copy of its data or for its deletion when it stops.

Accounting and financial records

TallyOps prepares drafts of estimates, invoices, bills, purchases and journal entries. Nothing is posted to QuickBooks Online until an admin in your organization approves it. Your organization is responsible for reviewing what it approves, and for its own accounting, tax, payroll and legal obligations. TallyOps doesn’t provide accounting, tax or legal advice.

AI features and coding agents

Some features use AI, such as time drafts created from coding sessions and classification of past work. AI output can be wrong. Drafts don’t count toward time, cost or invoices until a person confirms them, and you are responsible for checking them before you do.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use TallyOps for anything unlawful, or to infringe anyone’s rights;
  • try to reach another organization’s data, or get around roles, permissions or other security measures;
  • probe, scan or test TallyOps for weaknesses without our written permission;
  • overload or disrupt TallyOps, or access it by automated means other than the tools and interfaces we provide;
  • copy, resell or reverse engineer TallyOps, except as the law allows despite this limit;
  • upload malware or content you have no right to share.

Other services

TallyOps works with services run by others, such as Google sign-in, Intuit QuickBooks Online, Harvest, and coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor and Codex. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for them. If one changes or stops working, the features that depend on it may change or stop too.

Fees

Any fees for TallyOps are set out in a separate agreement or order with your organization.

Our service and its changes

We keep TallyOps and its software, design and documentation, apart from your organization’s data. We may improve, change or retire features. If a change significantly reduces what your organization relies on, we will tell its admins ahead of time where we reasonably can. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation to you.

Suspension and ending use

Your organization may stop using TallyOps at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts the service or other organizations at risk, and we will give notice first where we reasonably can. When an organization stops, we give it a reasonable chance to export its data before we delete it.

Disclaimers

TallyOps is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that TallyOps will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its reports, forecasts or drafts will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about TallyOps is limited to the greater of the amount your organization paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Indemnity

Your organization will defend and compensate us against claims from others that arise from its data or from its use of TallyOps in breach of these terms or the law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about them will be heard in the state and federal courts located in Colorado, and both sides agree to those courts’ jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we tell organization admins before it takes effect. Using TallyOps after a change takes effect means accepting the new terms.

General

If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn’t a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of our business. These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement about TallyOps unless your organization has a separate signed agreement with us.
